French toast
A few people suggested french toast. Rae hasn't liked mine in the past, but I'm not very good at making it. How do you make your french toast? Any particular bread you've found that works the best? Is the trick getting the pan nice and hot so that it doesn't turn out soggy? Mine is always soggy. Your comments have been great - keep the help coming! :)

Nathan is the breakfast foods chef at our house, but from what I can tell, the key is the proper proportions between egg and milk. Too much egg results in egg fried bread and too much milk makes it soggy. He doesn't use a recipe--he just goes by what looks good and I say his is very decent. Hope that helps and good luck!
seths family does very little egg per piece so it doesn't get soggy, and he puts vanilla in it... dip the bread then let it drip, don't let it soak too much up and cook it on medium heat so that it doesnt cook the outside too much before it gets to the inside. then when its done they put powdered sugar and butter on it... its really good. oh and its great made on french bread
too bad you dont have a winco anymore... they just started carrying an organic breafast cookie, they are really small but 110 calories and good protien fat and fiber.. they are 10 cents a piece! i just bought like 25 for lily cuz she really likes them and they are dairy free.
I put cinnamon in the egg mixture. Also if you're camping (or your stove breaks) use Hawaiian Bread and the BBQ. It makes it really sweet you don't even need syrup.
another suggestion is fruit and yogurt smoothies.. frozen fruit works really well for that... and just a scoop of frozen fruit concentrate.
